Mission

The EPFL Center For Global Computing (CGC) is an association of research groups and laboratories of the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne(EPFL).

The Center aims at fostering interdisciplinary research in the general area of global computing and distributed systems by providing its members with an efficient scientific and administrative support for collaborative research projects in the Center research area. The CGC may represent any of its members in various research and/or industrial projects. The CGC may also contribute to the realization of collaborative projects involving several of its members by developing integrative environments for the valorization of specific research results developed by the CGC staff or the CGC members.

The CGC is composed of a management team, an executive board and, a college of affiliated and associated units.
